SSC JE Exam 2012 will be held on 8th April 2012. The details of SSC junior engineer vacancy is given below: CPWD(Central Public Works Department) Vacancies : 192 for Junior Engineers (Civil) & 186 for Junior Engineers (Electrical) CWC(Central Water Commission) Vacancies : 82 for Junior Engineers (Civil) & 23 for Junior Engineers (Mech) MES(Military Engineering Service) Vacancies : 155 for Junior Engineers (Civil) & 91 for Junior Engineers (Electrical/ Mech), 13 for JE (Quantity Surveying & Contracts) Farakka Barrage: will be determined in due course. Deptt. Of Post : will be determined in due course Age Limit :  For CPWD JE : 18-27 years  For MES JE: Not exceeding 30  For CWC Junior engineers : Upto 32 Years  For Farakka Barrage: 18-27 Years for Junior Engineers (Quantity Surveying and Contract) in MES Educational Qualification: A candidate must possess a degree/ diploma in Civil or Electrical or Mechanical Engineering from recognized university. Salary Package: Rs. 9300-34800 grade pay Rs. 4200/- Application Fee : Rs. 100/- through CRF Stamps. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Women and Ex-servicemen candidates. How to Apply : Deserving candidates are required to apply through prescribed format application form and send it to any of the nine Regional Director of SSC -Staff Selection Commission as per the selection of examination centre.
