IIT Kanpur Recruitment 2012 – Various Vacancies: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kanpur has issued notification against recruitment of various vacancies as special recruitment drive for SC/ST/PH category candidates. Eligible candidates may apply through prescribed application format on or before 30-04-2012. IIT Kanpur Vacancy Details:
Total Number of Vacancies: 05
Names of Posts:
1. Deputy Registrar (Group A) – 01 vacancy
2. Junior Technician Superintendents (Group B) – 03 vacancies
3. Junior Technician (Group C) – 01 vacancy

Age Limit: For Group-A Posts age must be below 55 years, Group-B Posts 25 to 40 years and Group- C Posts 18 to 35 years. (Age relaxations will be extended as per Govt. rules).

Educational Qualification: Candidates are asked to refer to the notification for the details of required educational qualification.

Application Fee Details: Fee must be paid in form of demand draft of Rs. 100/- for the posts at Sl.No.01 and Rs. 50/- for the posts at Sl. No. 02 and 03, drawn in favor of “The Registrar, IIT Kanpur” payable at Kanpur.

Selection Process: Eligible candidates will be selected on the basis of performance in Written Test, Trade Test and Interview.

How to Apply: Candidates must download the application format available in the website, fill it with all mandatory details, attach photograph, attest signature and send it along with payment receipt and copies of all relevant certificates to the following address, The Registrar, (Attn.)
